true!  the average person has direct contact with about 250 people. badmouth
someone and all their friends hear about it. say something nice and only a
handful hear it. i have had to eat crow in a couple different situations
after making a big scene.
what is customer service? beats the hell out of me. getting a voice mail when
you call and never getting a return call? selling or sending you the wrong
part? Customer service to the most point is a thing of the past. if a company
has good customer service most likely you will find a good stable company.
Its unfortunate that Barry spent so much money there. I'm sure they had no
problem taking his money.but what if......... that one part that you have
been looking for years happens just to pop up at the place. do you buy it or
walk away because you will never buy something from them again? lets say it
is so rare you have never seen one before. you walk in to buy it and the guy
says "hey i remember you, the part is sold."
whoops, i have bought tons of parts and have had bad experiences with quite a
few vendors. There are several I won't buy from but I do check with them for
price and availability. that NOS speed / cruise control may turn up on their
shelve one of these days.
Barry did the right thing returning the item and letting us all know. i
myself have never done any business with them and probably won't.its too bad
there wasn't a place on team chevelle to rate these vendors. kind of like a
feedback like ebay has.
