Your virus software should caught the problem. If you opened the file then you sent the virus to everyone in your address book and or all messages in your inbox. The virus seems to be damaging the Kernel32.exe file. Let me know if your virus program finds the virus and infected files. The virus is W32.badtrans.B@mm.
