What about a 67 El Camino?  There used to be a nice one in Colorado a while back for $6500 but sold now.  Then you'd have the best of both worlds.  The 67 you want and still be able to haul stuff, like firewood in the winter <g>.

I have checked Ebay and autotrader.com.  I could find what I wanted for 7-9k, all I want is a nice malibu.  However it is the internet and you never know what your going to get.  Like you said I know what's wrong with the one i've got.  The last thing I want is to spend that much on a 67 with a bent frame.  And if that is going to happen it would happen to me.
