Hi John, Inflated shipping costs really suck! If anyone has ever bought stuff from Mid America Designs (Corvette parts), they've no doubt noticed how screwed up their shipping charges are... They base the shipping on the price of the order. So you could buy a very expensive item that doesn't weigh much, and the shipping costs enough to send a set of cast iron heads overnight! I very rarely buy from them for that reason. That's one reason I like Summit and Jeg's. Even though they charge a "handling" fee, it's still cheaper than sales tax in a lot of places. I usually try to wait until I have a whole list of things to order so I only get one handling fee for a bunch of stuff. BTW, I was checking out your web sight and I couldn't find a part I need. I'm looking for the interior dome light for my Elky.
