Jason, facing the radio on the right hand side, to the back, should be a terminal/lug type affair with a screw attched to the case, this is for the ground. If I were you I would bench test the radio befor you install it. use a 12v power supply/battery/battery charger, and an old speaker, but bottom line is you can ground directly to the radio case to the dash.
