FYI

My brother had a Hurst shifter, from the factory, in his '70 442.

But you will NEVER talk me into believing that all of GM didn't use Hurst. I know for a fact that there was a special edition of Olds HURST 442.

GM did not build the H/O olds 442.  Hurst bought the W30 equipped 442 cars from Oldsmobile, took them to their plant and did their thing to them.  Hurst was not factory equipment on most GM vehicles although there may be some exceptions.  It is sort of like what Saleen does with Mustangs.  I am going to do some research on this for my own benefit just to see.
