My '66 Chevelle SS has the original factory dash fuel gauge, idiot lights, and blank for the clock as the clock is mounted in the center console. I may be replacing the engine and front lighting harness and wondering if any body has switched from the set up i just described to the fuel gauge / amp meter and water temp / oil pressure gauges that are available for the '66 and'67 dashes. Is there a different instrument bezel used when using this full dash set up? Bottom line - I'd like to add the full set of dash gauges and keep a factory look.
Also, a buddy of mine swears by the form, fit, and function the wiring harness by Factory Fit. Anybody with experience using them vs. other harness on the market? Thanks in advance.
