Subject: [Chevelle-List] Mufflers and Pipes=67 ChevelleI have done the research on a new exhaust system for my 67 Chevelle with 383 stroker, re:
- headers, 2.5 pipes throughout, H pipe, and either Flowmaster Delta 40 or 50's or Dynomax Super Turbos.
Question: Do you suggest have the exhaust pipes exiting the rear or downturning past the rear tires but before the bumpers. I lean toward the exhaust pipes exiting the rear where the bumpers are. This Chevelle will be a driver not show car. Not concerned about factory original look, just form and function.
Thanks,
Ken McDee
