300 Deluxe Malibu's represent'n :)

I guess I'm like everyone else, cool with everyone throwing on SS stuff as long as you don't say it is legit. Hey do what you like cause it is YOUR car. Don't have to please all the other guys out there. But is it just me or does everyone and their momma do that so it seems? I personally love looking at the malibus at show just becuse they are a tad different. IMO different is good. I'm personally go emblemless on my car except for the front nose and possibly the rear deck lid. Interior is also emblemless. Only the chevelle guys will know it is a 300 deluxe from the taillights (68 model) and I will let the car's ET's speak for the car... not a emblem or badge.

Subject: [Chevelle-List] clones

my two cents  , i owned an ss and I've clone several, the only way to tell them apart is to have a build sheet, and numbers match block,, that where the high money is,  if you choose to invest in a chevelle have this in mind and you wont get burnt. these cars are old enough to have been though several restoration, , nowadays one does not know what going on in one's garage,,,,,, do your home work,  things to look for on  true ss car, s that have no matching engines,  fuel lines, suspension parts  steering parts, these are always dead give away's for small block cars, , James
