I remember having a b$#ch of a time getting the pittman arm off the
shaft.  I think we made a decent divot in the cement of the garage floor
doing some "persuading" with the mini-sledge and still did not get it
off.  I think we gave up and took it to a shop, but it has been over ten
years and my memory of that fiasco has faded...
