Is this strickly a 1969 "item?"

Where would I get an antenna lead?  It's an 18 inch
coax cable between windshield antenna and the radio.
Can one be made somehow?  Or whaaat!!?

Also what is this I heard that there were AM antennas
which will not receive AM-FM?  Been hearing about
that lately, but no one I have talked with is sure about
this, anyone know on here?

Still not sure whether to go aftermarket or not, been
seeing a lot of origional power antennas on ebay for
'68-72 intermediate GM cars and not sure whether
it is worth the trouble to get one, make it work and
add an origional factory GM Power Antenna "Switch."

                             Just wondering if anyone knows?
