One thing to note... if you go the powder coat way.... you have to give  them
a bare housing... the bushings and insides will never take the  heat.  If
it's already together... paint is the only way.  I have to  do the same to my
rear... i plan to primer it and then paint it a gloss  black.... can get the
paint from a local store... or eastwood.



I like the idea about using the cherry picker .... I was going to paint  it
on stands... always end up scratching off some new paint...
