Eddie,  I agree with Herb.  When I was going through that stage I had 20
guys tell me all the positives about the 350.  There were also 20 guys that
were devoted BB diehards.  If you asked this question 10 years from now
you'll hear all the same things.
My decision was a bit easier.  I had a 307 in my car.  I would have had to
buy the 350, although they are more plentiful and cheaper.  I decided that
whichever came my way first would be the way I would go.  Thankfully, it was
a 402 BB.
As Herb said it depends on what you want to do with he car.  I will probably
keep this car forever so I'm doing it the way I will be forever happy with
it.  I tend to fall in love with my cars and can't get rid of them.
I will have well over $20K in a 1969, 307 Malibu that might be worth 7-10
when finished.
