Hi, Karen. I have only had two Chi's (I'm have always been a Dachshund girl), Peanut and Scooter, who lost his battle with a liver disease in Nov. He was the sweetest little thing! A really good "hugger". He even won over my Dad, who isn't really a "dog person". :) Scooter was 14, too. Peanut has congestive heart failure. She is on several meds daily and still acts like a puppy most of the time. She doesn't have many teeth left either, but loves to eat!! She is a junk food junkie. Her favorite food is french fries. :) Not that she gets them very often. Though her "cousins" gave her McDonald's gift certificates for Christmas! He he he!
