If at all possible, see a 24 hour vet now, but if it is impossible and you must wait till in the morning, try to determine if the leg is broke....does it look distorted? is there swelling? Try a cold compress. Keep an eye out for other signs of illness, if it is broke, it could effect her physically in other ways. It is important to see a vet as soon as possible if there is any chance the leg is broke. If you are absolutely sure it is NOT  broke, a cold compress can relieve the pain, ect, for a while. Help! Hey! My 13 week old 1 pound 3 oz. puppy jumped off my lap (we were on the couch) and she was excited to see my son and hurt her leg. I think it is in the 1st joint above the foot. She can't put any weight or stand to move it and she has been crying and yelling for over 30 minutes. There is no Vet open tonight. What if anything can I do?
