I talked to my vet about this today, Gizmo has one canine and "several" back baby teeth retained.  She said to wait until he was a year before pulling any still there.  Unfortuneately he is in a Dog Show end of next month so we are going to wait untill 10 days before the show and see if the canine will come out on its own as the first one did.  Otherwise she will do them all at once.  Anna

They could always *try* to pull them with no meds, but it will hurt
(as I know you already know). Not sure if they have a pet one, but
maybe they could give her the numbing ointment that they use on
people before giving a shot in the mouth (sorry not sure of the
name... something like orajel). Just a thought.  ~Lacey

had an allegic reation to the 4 way shot , at that time the vet told
me that if she didn't loose her two fangs, as she has 4 now, within
the year she will have to have them pulled??????? any suggestions
anyone????   worried about her reaction to anistesia due to the fact
when she had the reaction to the shot i gave her bynadryl and she
had a reaction to that also, not sure I want to put her under, too
much risk.   ideas anyone???
