If i could adopt this dog i would, she is gorgeous, pics on the link
above.

Notes: Sami is a sweet little Chuhuahua with pretty reddish-brown
coloring and big soulful eyes. We were told that she is about 2-3
years old and was found in this condition—with a huge umbilical cord
hernia/tumor. She was used by a backyard breeder, a person EVERYONE
considering getting a pet should avoid like the plague!

The breeder who wanted to get rid of her dogs said Sami could be used
for breeding if someone would take care of the hernia! Can you
believe the ignorance of that statement? When we got her, the
hernia/tumor was so big (as you can see by the photo) she could
barely walk. We've now discovered she is older than 2 or 3--maybe 6
accordig to our vet, and has only a few teeth left as she's not been
cared for by the money-hungry, despicable backyard breeder.

Sami had surgery today, July 8, and her doctor gives her a 50/50
chance of survival. When Sami was opened up, the vet found two
herniated areas where the intestine and grown into and around. The
entire belly area was cleaned out. If little Sami lives, she'll need
a LOVING home where she will be treated like the queen she always
should have been treated as! She is a darling girl that will make a
wonderful feline companion for someone who will appreciate her.

If you can't adopt Sami, please consider donating a few dollars to
her veterinary bills, as the surgery alone will cost about $350 and
our needs this time of year have been so much higher than normal. She
will also need routine vaccines and spaying eventually.

Backyard breeders do not care at all about animals: they want to make
money and therefore do NOT want to spend anything on the care of the
animals they breed irresponsibly and without thought to genetics.
Anyone buying from these people are asking for trouble and the
possibility of a sick animal. If no one bought from these people, or
the PET STORES that sell them (as no responsible breeder would EVER
sell to a pet store) they could be put out of business and the
suffering of so many animals ended!!!
