Christie,

I feel the same way you do.  My vet requires them to stay overnight, but no one 
stays with them. 
 My main bone of contention is that I can care for her at home and call if 
there is any problems.

This is something I will discuss and insist upon when Zoe is spayed.  Let me 
know what happens.
