This sounds reasonable to me. Sometimes when you kennel them they end up getting kennel cough and thought costs even more. Not to mention the stess you're putting on them. Pam

I was looking on line at rates, but we are talking about a kid here maybe to just let the dog out, clean the litterbox, feedings, stuff like that. Does $6/visit sound reasonable? I wondered about charging extra if they want the dog taken for a walk, etc. Any thoughts would be appreciated. My DD thought that sounded like a lot of money until I told her what a kennel charges and that most people would rather pay extra to be able to leave their dog at home. My neighbor comes over 4x/day to take care of our dogs when we go off (and we take care of his as well), but I would gladly pay someone $24/day to do that and consider it a bargain.
