Oh, they will have fun, and the homecoming is the best.  They go CRAZY when 
they see you.  :)  

I know it's hard to leave them home, but honestly to leave them in a hotel, 
when people you don't know have access to your room frightens me.  We have had 
people steal dogs here and chi's are quite popular.  I would take mine if I 
knew they would be with me 24/7.  Perhaps I am paranoid, but I would just die 
if anything ever happened to them.
