Hi, Cim. Welcome to the group! Is Tianna the only dog you have? Sounds like to me she might be going through a doggy teenager stage. Mouthy, doesn't listen... LOL. Anyways, so she only growls and nips when your hubby is around? Does she try to bite him or just you? As far as the nails go, we gave up on trimming our chi's nails a long time ago. We tried, but everytime we would hold her she'd do a crazy alligator death roll. So now we take her to PetSmart where she, of course, behaves like an angel. I think it is about $8-$10 which isn't too bad, so if you can I'd go ahead and take Tianna there. It's good for socializing too.
