It will take time. If he is gonna remain in the picture, it may never happen, but didn't you say you were going through a divorce or something?? If that is the case, once he is gone, she will eventually take up to you, but as long as he is around, she will probably always be his.
While you may have been the one to take care of her, you were probably also the one to have to discipline, say no, ect as well, lol......
