Christy...the low protein diet is ONLY if his seizures are a result of Liver Shunt...if his seizures are a result of ANYTHING else a low protein diet can be harmful...I would have him ONLY on low protein IF he is diagnosed for certain to have Liver Shunt. If he does not...then get him on a raw diet. Raw is what really lessened Nugget's seizures...Nugget does not have liver shunt.
