Hi Pat Ricky's collar is loose enough for 2 fingers. I do not know if it will acually slip back over his head though, but he is wearing a very narrow collar that I would think would break at the closure area if he got caught on something. I use a harness on him also for walking. I would never use his collar for that. I want to buy him a new collar and harness but in RED. Since he is black, he looks good in RED. I had thought about getting the breakaway cat collar because it will open if he got caught. But then again, if he got lost, it could come off also... defeating the pupose of the ID tag. That is where the microchip comes in handy I guess. but how many people think to take a stray to a vet to be scanned??
How about inventing a dog foot anklet that info can be ingraved on it? I guess we could use a infant baby anklet of some sort. Something to think about.
