For some reason it makes me feel better to know that our little ones
have trouble just like us when it comes to losing weight. This is
somewhat off topic for this group but I started a new years resolution
to lose weight this year and I can tell it's getting close to lunch time
because I'm hungry. Weight never seems to come off as easily as it came
on.....sigh

I have rescued several overweight chi"S and put them on diets straight
away. Actually the little boy I am picking up will go on one too. Being
overweight is very hard on their little frames and has some serious
health risks. Not to mention it shortens their lifespan.

That being said I feed mine half their allotted amount in the am and
half again in the pm. If they seems to be hungry still I might give them
a few pieces in the mid-day. I have them that range from 2.85 to 7
pounds and none of mine have had a single problem.

Hope this help ease your mind.

ok this is day 3 of Gurgis diet he is really overweight but i am afraid
that he is going to go hypoglycemic on me with such strict feeding.
Should i worry about this? I am so worried about his weight he is so
fat. He is banned from all people food and he gets a single kibble for a
treat and when he gets really crazy for food. Is it too late to get in
on the secret pal? thank you Aimi and Gurgi
