Are you using regular kitty litter or the one by Purina for dogs?

Emiliano trained at 8 weeks to use a litter box.  He still uses it, when I am gone a long time, or when the weather is too bad to go outside. First day, I lined the litter box with paper, onto the paper I sopped up some of his urine or a light smear of  poop (only have to do this to begin training, once they go to the box, no longer have to do it).  Watch for signs of having to go potty and if he doesn't go to the box lift him onto it and tell him to "potty".  Of course, you must make a big fuss and give him lots of praise when he uses the box.
