Hi Valerie!

Aww, I feel for you.  When I was employed I always had to work weekends, for 15 years and missed out on a lot of fun! Now I am making up for lost time and enjoying every minute of it. Hope you get more weekends off!

Peggy

I wonder if Gigi was run over by a baby stroller once?  Or maybe at least spooked by one.  Dolly & Desi like when they see strollers because they think they are going to ride in it.

For some reason, Dolly does not like big dogs when she is in the stroller, but if she is walking on the ground she goes over and smells them…not one bit afraid.  I wonder if maybe in between the breeder in Hope, AR, and the pet store if she was next to another kennel that had a bigger dog in it staring at her.  Or maybe it was when I left her at the boarding facilities here.  I think they told me that unless they are related, they keep the metal sheet between the kennels.

We went to our first Spring Fair today. It was very crowded and I had to carry Gigi most of the time. She loved it, and she got a lot of attention from people. I did see one other Chi, he was a  2 1/2 pound male, very very friendly and absolutely adorable. Gigi liked him a lot, in fact she tried to pull me back to him when we were leaving. The people wanted to know if I would breed her to their dog. You know how that hit me! I get this all the time when I walk her...people always asking if they could buy one of her puppies if I bred her. So of course they are sorry that they asked, lol, once I tell them how many need homes on Petfinder, and they always seem shocked to hear that there are so many, mainly because you don't see that many Chi's here and they are in demand. I did learn another thing about Gigi today, she is afraid of baby strollers! Each time one would come by, she would sit in between my feet, shake and beg to be picked up, which of course I did.

I did find one vendor who had some doggie items. She had some Chi picture frames, but they were of a solid tan chi. Most of the Chi stuff was either an all tan or an all white chi.  I did however order two  license plate holders. One that says I love (heart) my Chihuahua and the other I love (heart) my American Eskimo. These are the heavy metal ones and the print is covered over in white resin. The plastic one that I have had for the Eskie from a couple of years ago is shot, because the print wore off! So I was very happy to find these. She didn't have any statues though, so I will have to keep looking. I also bought Gigi a cute Hoodie that says  'Fabulous' and has a Lg double pink heart on it.  It was a fun day, but can you believe that I forgot my camera, duh!

Hope you all had a nice day too!
