Peggy, about 8 years ago I saw my neighbors Chihuahua get picked up by a hawk, and then dropped. The Chi was okay, a little shaken up. We also had Owl's too! One would scope out mine all the time. I was washing my car, and a pigeon was on the roof above me on the garage and a hawk got it. Heck I don't even trust the crows! And if it isn't the birds you have to watch out for its the Coyotes too. My little Chassis is the target, she is under 3 pounds and easy pickings.. Beth
