What a wonderful morning you have had! Sometimes I am busy and think that I have to do the ‘work’ or go to the doctor, the store, or whatever is going on. That is when I notice that Dolly & Desi are whining and then they may start a fight among them…and it is to get my attention. After the situation I see that what they have been used to and love lately is me being sick and like a log I the recliner all day with them sitting on my lap. Last night, Dolly actually jumped from the floor into the stroller…I think she was taking lessons from Desi. Her front legs made it and then she had to do some fancy footwork to get in the rest of the way. I was so sick and had that gurgly cough and my throat was killing me. I sat down in the recliner and it felt so strange with only me in it. Then Desi came out of the stroller and was sitting on my left side as he had always done. I moved the stroller right next to the recliner because Dolly was in there by herself with three blankets – and Desi and I had one that wasn’t very warm. She slept in there all night and somehow got out and was able to run to the back door and bark for me to let her out. I don’t want that stroller in the house all the time, but last night I was a bit sad that Dolly didn’t want to lay on my lap! Maybe she is starting to mature into a young lady who doesn’t need Mommy holding her any more! I am glad that she had a happy sleep and I think Desi stayed with me, but sometimes things really surprise us…and those things bring smiles to our faces and go into our memories so that we can remember and relive!

I’m sitting working on my computer: First little Becky comes and asks to get in my lap. Immediately she snuggles inside my robe and crawls around behind me in the chair. Then comes Nicky (a 7 lb little deer chi which has been abused). He asks me to pick him up so I do so. I pull the robe around him as he sits on my left leg and rests his head on my left hand as I type. Then little Gabby (a 3 lb deer type chi who has been abused to the point of having no spirit- just terrified of life) asks to get in my lap. I pick her up and put her on my right side, inside my robe. I am surrounded by love! I believe that these two abused chi’s are learning to love and trust again. My Becky has been with me from puppyhood and knows no fear. Judy Moon, a prayer warrior for Christ "May grace and spiritual peace be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ."
