Try three snacks - I like using a dab of peanut butter and bread.  Have all
three ready when you start.  I give the dog a piece of bread (dime sized) with
the PB on it - they gulp it down.  Give the dog another dime sized piece of
bread squished around the pill with a dab of peanut butter on it, followed
immediately with the third piece of just bread and PB.  Mine love both so much
that all three would be swallowed before they ever had a hint of a pill being
involved.

My dogs are real smart. No matter what I wrap the pill in they still spit
it out  LOL  We bought a pill crusher that solved the problem

Veveeta Cheese the pill gets lost in it if they like cheese. If you
have multiple dogs it seems if they think one of the other dogs is going to get
it they are more likely to gobble it down
