Hi Michaela:
Congratulations on your new Chi, "Merit". Even though he may be timid at first,
it may just take him a bit to get comfortable with his new home. I adopted my 3
1/2 year old Liza last December from a rescue group. She was a stray. She was
shy at first and followed me everywhere. After a week or so she stopped
following me each time I got up and just rested on the couch. Over time Liza
has become a very entertaining little dog who is so obedient with no training
from me. Although, I am teaching her to sit. She learns quickly.

Just give your little Merit a little time to adjust. This has been my
experience anyway.

Look forward to Pictures!

Margie
