Hi Michaela , Merit sounds perfect ! Maybe He lived with another dog that wouldn't let him eat ? My first chi is also a chiweenie ! She has a Longer back , floppy ears that are so cute but longer legs . Her personality is all Chi . I just love her to pieces . I got her as a rescue also .
