Hello Gloria, Nice to hear from you again. I loved your photo of Beau at that branche with the white flowers. Beau is a beauty. You picked the right name for him, because when I’m right “Beau” is the Frenche word for “beautiful”.
I do have a Double Yellowheaded Amazon, a Congo African Grey, an Umbrella Cockatoo, a Jenday Conure, a Greencheek Conure, 4 Pacific Parrotlets, 2 Agapornis Fischerii an many Cockatiels and besided my Chihuahua’s Vicky & Lisa I also do have 3 cats. My Congo African Grey is a very good talker. I’m a member of several Yahoo parrot Groups. That is already timeconsuming. I’ve recently desided to join this Chihuahua-group, but have to see if this works out because of my time. Great that you, as a Chihuahua-owner also do have a Conure (am I right?). Why don’t you join a Parrot Group too, to ask advice about improving handeling your Beau. It would be nice if he could have some “out of the cage”-time every day. And, what about your long coat Chihuahua. What is his or her name? Is it a male or a female? What is the age? What colour does it have? Since when do you have him or her? What is his or her character? I have a red bellied named Beau. He is a great talker and is 10 years old. I've had him since he was a baby. He no longer wants to be handled but he will talk and ask for kisses. I no longer allow beak to mouth kisses, since he bit me hard but I will kiss his little feet as he clings to the perch/cage. Gloria
