We tried Advantage 2 and Vectra 3D this winter and the dogs were getting
lots of flea bites and were itchy.  Went back to Comfortis and no more
bites or itching. (I was putting DE on them and their bedding also). This
was in FL.  Here in MI the topicals work great.  I can even use plain
Frontline with good results.
