I wish that More emphasis had been made on reuniting this lost dog with her owner. I am surprised that Humane Society accepted her as a stray. In Florida, Humane Society will not take them as a stray, they must go to animal control. I wonder if any effort will be made by that shelter to find her original owner before adopting her out?
So many times, dogs get out of the house or yard and end up this way. And if they are just adopted out to a new owner, an original owner most likely will never find their dog. Sad for the dog, who was really lost.
