Just now I realized that I can't drag text into the tab area to create a new tab out of it. I was on this page:
http://forums.devnetwork.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=91855 and when jshpro2 mention the site hotscripts.com I attempted to select that text and drag it into the tab-bar area of Chrome. What happens is my cursor turns into something like ∅ and I can't create a new tab out of the text I dragged. I think it would be awesome if this was an ability in Chrome. Being able to drag text in as many places would be very useful. Being able to drag non-web-links into new tabs would be an easy way to google search as well, instead of via a context menu. So I suggest that Chrome could enable the user to drag any text into the tab-bar, a tab, omnibox, etc. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Chromium-discuss" group.
