Actually, the tarball used to be outdated, but since January 16 it's been
entirely current, uploaded anew at 2 AM every day.  Starting today, it's
packaging the latest revision that passed all tests, and it should contain
all the dependencies needed to build (apart from the prerequisites listed on
each platform's build instructions).
