Thanx for the FlashBlock extension, I've installed it, though it doesn't do much for me since I run Chromium with all plugins disabled. :)
What I'm looking for is something like this script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/50771 Unfortunately I haven't gotten it to work on Chromium (yet?), and it would be nice if sites other than YouTube were included. But the general idea of using native video apps other than Flash/ShockWave to play embedded videos is the direction I'd like to be heading.
