Actually, the Chromium builds, even the ones from which the same revision Dev Chrome was branched, are not identical to the Dev Chrome builds, since they usually patch the Dev Chrome builds a few times to fix the final problems before the Dev release. This patches are not part of the original revision (a fact that can sometimes be significant).
