Dear All,

May I tap your expertise again ? - this time on the various effigies of Churchill at Madame Tussaud's.

The Finest Hour site speaks of seven :

On the day of his wedding, Churchill had been honored with the distinction of appearing as a waxwork effigy at Madame Tussaud’s. It was the first of a total of seven effigies throughout his life.

On the Web, however, there are several quotations from a book on Madame Tussaud’s which says there were ten :

The first sculpture of a young Winston Churchill was made in 1908, with a total of ten made since. Pamela Pilbeam Madame Tussaud: And the History of Waxworks.

Any comments ?

With all best wishes,
