Hello,

As I sais in my first post, I had to upgrade the bootloader because it was too old but the slot was perfectly working then. This is why it's bugging me so much...

I'll check the backplane for any Bent pins but still...

Youssef,

You've answered your own question- you have a bad slot 1. Check to see if there are any bent pins in it/make sure the PAs actually seat properly in it. ITMT, avoid using slot 1 to prevent further reloads.

Hello,

It's a possibility I have considered as it is a refurb chassis.

Any other ideas ?

Thanks.

Hello community,

I received a 7204VXR chassis with a I/O controler (no FE ports on it) et
plugged in it an old NPE-400 plus 2 PA-FE.

PA-FE 1 in in slot 1.

PA-FE 2 is in slot 2.

Upgraded my bootloader with c7200-boot-mz.120-22.S.bin and my version of
IOS
is c7200-adventerprisek9-mz.122-33.SRD.bin.

Here is my problem :

When PA-FE1 is in slot1, the router loops during boot and the following
appears :

When I remove the PA-FE from slot 1 or insert it in another slot (2,3 or
