One note boys and girls, no matter if you get cable, DSL, or (God forbid)
ISDN besure to adjust you RWIN size in the registry if using a Microsoft OS.
Doing this won't up your peak (maximum transmission bandwidth) but it often
raises the average bandwidth by as much as three times. Example, my RWIN is
around 64,000 and my average bandwidth is around a meg on DSL, keeping me
almost alwasys at peak performance. Check out www.2wire.com to measure you
bandwidth and get more info.
