RE: Difference Between T1 & Frame relayTo clarify, T1 (or better still, DS1)
is a Physical Layer standard which regulated line encoding and bit timing.
Frame Relay is a Data Link Layer framing convention (based on a modified
HDLC) and has nothing to do with the Physical Layer bit timing and line
encoding schemes covered by T1, E1 or the other Layer 1 standards.
