(seems the list server lost some mail on saturday?!
anyways i am sending my mail again - my apologies if
you see it twice).
------------------------------------------------------

greetings from a newbie in this group!

i finally took my CCNA last week with a score a little
over 900. however, i only got 40% in network
security,
which i have NO way to believe!! i am confident in
what i was tested regarding that part, and i used to
work in network security with a tier-1 ISP plus i use
ipfw on UNIX on a daily basis (access lists are pretty
much closed-type ip fw, imho). anyway, i am very much
curious to know what the heck i answered wrong (if the
test system had no fault)! -- is there ANY way to talk
to cisco to find out -- i'm willing to pay! :)

now questions:

1) any comments (pros/cons) on skipping CCNP and
taking
CCIE (written) directly? some people did that.
2) any recommended books (and courses) for CCNP and
   CCIE (written)?

being new to this group, i wanna express how i feel
here. sad but true, i had to delete 3/4 or more of
the
postings i got from this list before i started to see
interesting stuff (i personally think 1/2 "garbage"
is OK but 3/4 is a little too much). sorry for being
fussy! ;)
