8 months of "to die for" weather. 4 months of nasty hot, but you are in IT
and work inside ;-) Lots of recreation opurtunities (lakes, golf, hiking,
etc), lots of culture wild and conservitive. Pro teams of all kinds.
Lots of big companies have headquarters here, call centers, and lots of med
sized and start-ups too.
Traffic is not too bad, depending on where you live vs. where you work and
the schedule you have. I live 25 miles from work and have a 9 ish to 6 ish
schedule, it rarely takes me more than 30 mins either way.
For $3500 a month on house you could be in a very nice 4000+ Sqft house on a
very nice golf course.
If you have senior Cisco and/or UNIX and/or Oracle skills then you will like
find work right away.
