Funny you should mention. I am starting a new job in Old Alexandria on
August 15. Moving from Jersey. I am a little nervous as I have been with the
company I am leaving for 5 years, but there seems to be so much going on in
the Alexandria/Reston/Arlington area in the way of tech.
Speaking of the commute, living in Alexandria and communiting into old town
isn't bad right? I mean it is just bad if you have to get on the loop
right??

Come to the Washington DC area... Work in Herndon, Reston area. Very nice
homes, prices all over the map, and it is like mini-silicon valley out
there. Just DON'T move to there, and then get a job in Northern VA like
Arlington/Alexandria cause the commute will KILL you. Sorry for the caps, I

I'm so tired of working 60-70 hours a week; I'm so
tried of paying $3,500 mortgage per month for a 1,300
sqf home; I'm so tired of driving on that crowed
highway (if you consider 5MPH is high). I'm thinking
moving out of silicon valley bay area.
Where, in US, can I find a place that is not cold in
winter, not hot in summer, no too much snow, no too
much rain, IT job market not too bad? I know it's
difficult to find such a place, but close?
