there is no real color scheme that I know of as the course cablk could be
made in different ways and colors
my eyes a getting a little old these days
but a cisco console cable is (pale blue sheath)
clip facing down
brown ( left side)
blue
yellow
green
red
black
orange
grey ( Maybe white)
I guess
Easiest way to tell is just place the connectors side by side and the same
way up the colors should be the same outside to inside then inside to
outside
