#1 if both subnets (A and B) are plugged into ports in a switch belonging to
the default VLAN (VLAN1) then the router should see both subnets if it's
configured for 2 subinterfaces. The router should be able to route between
both subinterfaces.

# 2 If the ports were specifically divided into 2 subnets by using VLANs (
subnet A = VLAN 1, subnet B = VLAN 2) then the port where the router is
plugged into should be configured for trunking and the ethernet ports on the
router should use dot1q or isl encapsulation.

Although solution number #1 is kinda funky, it should still work without
having to buy a 2620 or above router to use ISL encapsulation.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
