I also had the same experience with these online sites, but 99.9% of the calls and emails I received were from recruiters that didn't give my resume any more time than they would give a Mr. Rogers 2 hour after school special!!! Most of the jobs weren't anything like what I was looking for... Some were way, WAY over my exp. level and some were way below!!! You have to be patient, and can't go after the first thing that comes your way... If you have done this and are not getting responses, I would suggest relooking at your resume and seeing if there is something in it that is weak or not well written that may be affecting the responses. I had at least 50 calls from the DC area in 4 days. I also made sure I posted my cell phone number as the primary number on the resume so I was always there for the calls. Just a couple of ideas...
