more than likely, the router could not find the correct boot file. check the config
and look for a boot system flash stsement near the top. it is probably specifying the
wrong boot file.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has come across a router where the hostname
showed up as such:

                   Router(boot)#

one of my peers has told me this means the router did not fully boot up. Is
this true? Boot mode is what he called it. Any help is much appreciated in
advance.

>>>Brian
